The Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act represents a significant shift in how road traffic violations are enforced in South Africa.

With the effective date of 1 July 2026 officially announced for 62 municipalities, it is crucial for businesses, operators, fleet managers, HR professionals, and individual drivers to understand their rights, responsibilities, and the practical implications of AARTO.

This course provides a comprehensive, module-based breakdown of the AARTO process, from the issuing of infringement notices to the enforcement of demerit points and the potential suspension or cancellation of licences. It is designed to equip attendees with practical tools and legal knowledge to navigate this system confidently and compliantly.

Included in the course material is a generic AARTO workplace policy with supporting templates that can be introduced in any workplace.
